Iqra Ashfaq,
Iqra Ashfaq completed her undergraduate degree at McMaster University in Psychology, Neuroscience and Behaviour. She is now a Masters candidate at York University and is examining the physiological effects of mindfulness meditation and Islamic prayer. She is currently the Vice-President of the Healthy Student Initiative (HSI), a study coordinator and health coach for the Smartphone-based Telemonitoring System for the Clinical Management of Patients with Multiple Chronic Conditions in a Primary Care Setting, and the research-assistant for the Mindfulness Virtual Community project. |
